		<description>&lt;p&gt;Great article.  There is a sea change going on in the auto industry.  Between high gas prices, telecommuting and alternative fuels, the traditional auto is going away.  This last gas price spike, followed by the recession was what finally pushed things over the edge.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;With Amazon reportedly doing well and newspapers going out of business, the internet is also making a final push from toy to a useful tool that will dominate our lives like newspapers, TV and malls did two decades ago.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Advertising will have to adapt from the traditional model of shouting at the audience.  CPM ads online simply emulate the old media model of shouting at the audience.  Something big will need to happen here.  Bigger than CPC.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The key here is banking.  Only 10 years after the Glass-Steagall act was effectively repealed and we now are in near Depression-era collapse.  Banking laws need to change as part of the &quot;bailout.&quot;  If that problem can be solved, we will have the groundwork for a great future.&lt;/p&gt;
